The San Francisco Fog will playing touch rugby on Independence Day (Friday, July 4, 2008) from 11am until 1pm-2pm at Ocean Beach. Whether you’re new to the sport, looking for something fun to do, and/or wanting to get in some fitness, make sure to come out and join us!

There will also be touch rugby at Ocean Beach the following day on Saturday, July 5, 2008.

The San Francisco Fog was strongly represented at the 2008 San Francisco Pride Festival, held on Sunday, June 29, running a high-velocity beverage booth at a prime location next to the center performance stage in front of City Hall, as well as holding a sought-after recruiting/informational booth at “Athlete’s Alley” on McAllister St. where the Fog signed up numerous fair-goers interested in playing rugby and learning more about our family.

Carrying on with tradition, the San Francisco Fog is spending the summer playing touch rugby at Ocean Beach every Saturday of the summer from 11am until 1pm-2pm. FOG RUGBY - LEARN A SPORT, JOIN A FAMILY

The San Francisco Fog will have a recruiting booth at the San Francisco Pride Festival on Sunday, June 29 in the Civic Center. Come out to meet us, learn what the incredible sport of rugby is like, and see what our family is all about!

Opening Video for the Fog TV YouTube Series covering The Bingham Cup® 2008 held in Dublin, Irelandas produced by the SF Fog RFC’s resident videographer. This is the first of many videos to be produced by the Fog over the Summer of 2008, which will include match highlights of almost every game played by the Fog’s first and second sides, as well as a special music video montage set to the original song “Bingham Year” composed by a member of the Fog.

Many more professionally-done videos of the tournament can be found on the official Bingham Cup® YouTube Channel that were produced by the tournament organizers, which included the handy work of famed director Mr. Tony Bohan.

On Friday, June 20, come out to The LookOut Bar at 3600 16th Street (where the Metro Bar used to be), to enjoy all the Budweiser beer you can drink from 6pm to 10pm for only 8 dollars! The Fog will also be selling clothing merchandise (including t-shirts and hats) and holding a raffle with exciting prizes!

As a special event, the Fog will also be premiering their Bingham Cup 2008 Montage Video from their FogTV YouTube channel on their big screen TVs at 8pm!

And did we mention there will be LOTS of rugby players to hang out with? Come on out, unwind after a hard work week, and enjoy a beer with us!
